One especially bad Bible story is the genocide against the civilian population of Jericho. I hope you have included this in your book. The ancient Israelites as depicted in the Bible are nothing more than roving terrorists comparable to today's Al-Qaeda. I have always considered the people of Jericho as the "good guys" in this story. I will order your book today and I’m looking forward to reading it. Just recently, I learned that the Moses story was as mythical i.e. fictional as any other exodus myth. After reading "The Lateral Truth", I hope the other tales of rape and murder are allegorical, too. I'm a nurse, and I hate even giving needles because I don't like hurting people.
