Suppose you had an experience that you know is impossible. You witness an event and time runs backward to where it started. You remember the future.

Mark, Would your friend John Yessen be the same man that was my band teacher back in the late 70's in North Highlands, CA at a school called Campos Verdes Junior High? I would love to speak to him if it is the same man.

An interesting look at how a book is developed. It must have been a very rewarding experience.

I'm happy to learn that a novella is in the works!

I'm jealous, Mark! That sounds like an awesome experience. It's great to see that this whole writing thing is possible.

Fascinating to hear more about your writing process, Mark. I like how you approach writing a story in a similar way to studying physics: by asking deeper questions when you hit a roadblock.

On another note, I'm reading a novel by Robert Charles Wilson that so far is excellent. It deals with an issue very similar to The Quiet Room but on a different scale. You should check it out!

I enjoyed your storys a lot. I was impressed that you were actually a first time fictional story writter. You pull your reader through a story with dialoge alone at times, which is impressive for any writter (i can't even imagine being able to do so).

I'm sure the other students at Kihei Charter that didn't get a chance to see you would very much like to after here so much about you (because news carries fast in a small school). So please come back again!

Thank you so much for coming to our class and sharing a bit of your unique and compelling anthology! We all appreciate the opportunity to hear from and speak to a "real, live author." I'm sure that your presentation has inspired some to pursue similar interests in the future! Again, thank you.

All I can say is, if you dreamed a whole story, then you have arrived at that envious place where most writers wish they were. Looking forward to this story in the next collection!
