Scroll Press publishes manuscripts from 60,000 up to 150,000 words. If you believe you have a book length manuscript ready for consideration, then please prepare a synopsis (narrative summary of your work between 5-12 pages). Send a cover letter, a synopsis, a sample chapter and a letter of support from a Book Editor to the CEO, Dee Horne, at the address below. Be sure to include a self addressed and stamped return envelope (or International Reply Coupons if outside of Canada). If your synopsis looks promising, I will contact you and the Book Editor and ask you to send the whole manuscript. If you do not have a working relationship with a Book Editor, you may still send the above materials; however, we will give priority to those who submit a letter of support from an experienced Book Editor.
We pay industry standard royalties to authors of all books published by Scroll Press and books are distributed in the United States and in Canada. Send your submissions here:
